The Paradigm Challenge is an annual competition that inspires youth innovation to address important social issues. This year's Challenge invites youth aged 4 to 18 to use STEM skills plus kindness, creativity, and collaboration to generate new ideas to reduce waste in homes, schools, communities, and/or around the world.
$200,000 in cash prizes for students and their teachers.
Deadline: May 1, 2017
The Paradigm Challenge motivates students to use their innate problem-solving, inventive abilities. I talk about this on the Paradigm Challenge's "Lesson Plan Video," which is being distributed to classrooms across the country. The video and accompanying lesson plan materials also can be accessed online at: http://watchlessonplan.projectparadigm.org/
